In case of a damage

Dear customer,
in order to obtain compensation in case of damaged packages delivered by the post office, you need to proceed with package and content within 7 days to your local post office to file a claim. It needs to be filed on offical local post office claim forms and send to us in copy. If you fail to do so within 7 days, the claims will not be accepted by the Post Office and no refund will be issued.

We cannot tell you how fast the compensation will be made available, it depends on the country and its post office.

Shipping Damage – What to Do in Case of Damage

Despite the utmost care during shipping, transport damage may occur in rare cases. To help you quickly and easily, please follow the instructions below. The procedure varies depending on the delivery country:

 

Shipping Damage – International (Outside Germany)

Here’s what to do if damage occurs abroad:

  1. Inspect the package: Upon receiving your package, please inspect it immediately for any visible damage.
  2. Document the damage: Take clear photos of the damaged package and its contents.
  3. Report to local carrier: Report the damage to your local carrier within 5 days. Provide them with the photos and any other necessary details. Please note that a damage report must be filed within 5 days, otherwise the right to compensation expires.
  4. Contact Us: Email us at info@mikon-online.com with the photos, a description of the damage, and any communication you had with the local carrier. Include your order number. Please understand that we are dependent on the foreign offices to record a damage number and forward it to the German DHL to get your refund.

Retain all packaging: Keep all original packaging and damaged goods until the claim process is completed!

 

Shipping Damage – Within Germany

Your goods or packaging arrived damaged? Please proceed as follows:

  1. If there is visible external damage, ask the delivery driver to confirm it in writing upon delivery.
  2. Report the damage to us as soon as possible – ideally within 24 hours: info@mikon-online.com
  3. Contact us before returning the item. Please do not send back damaged goods without prior notice!
  4. If possible, take photos of the parcel and packaging.

Do not discard the packaging – wait for our response.
