Geology & Origin
Vanadinite forms in the oxidation zone of lead deposits, developing when vanadium-bearing solutions react with primary lead minerals such as Galena. The mining district of Mibladen is one of the world’s most famous sources of high-quality Vanadinite, known for its strong colours, sharp geometries and elegant parageneses. This specimen reflects the geological richness for which the region is celebrated.
