This flat contains a carefully curated selection of smoky quartz, feldspar, and siderite crystals from the well-known Mt. Malosa in the Zomba region of Malawi. This locality is internationally recognized for its pegmatite minerals with remarkable formation and diversity.
The crystals are partly loose and partly complete individual pieces or crystal groups. The natural combination of these mineral species, whether on matrix or as free crystals, results in attractive and collectible specimens. The mineralogical quality and variety make this flat ideal for systematic collections and collectors interested in African localities.
These specimens come from our own field discoveries during our 2022 mineral expedition to Malawi – an offer with verified provenance and authenticity.
