Pseudomorph, Aegirine, Siderite etc. xls; Mt. Malosa, Zomba, Malawi; 1 unique flat (30)
Pseudomorphs, Aegirine and Siderite etc. crystals from Mt. Malosa, Zomba, Malawi. 1 unique flat for mineral collectors.
Rare crystal associations with well-formed pseudomorphs, aegirine, and siderite crystals from Mt. Malosa near Zomba, Malawi. Each specimen in this unique flat features distinct crystals on matrix, including remarkable mineral replacements indicating transitions between primary and secondary phases.
Collected during our dedicated 2022 mineral expedition to Malawi, this material comes from one of the world’s most significant alkaline rock localities. Mt. Malosa is renowned for its exceptional paragenesis, and this specific combination of slender aegirine, yellowish siderite, and striking pseudomorphs adds high collector value.
A great addition to systematic collections, African locality series, or anyone drawn to unusual crystal occurrences.
