This lot contains eleven selected pieces with Adamite xls from the famous deposits at Mapimí, Mexico. The crystals show partly well-defined formation with the characteristic yellow-green color that fluoresces strongly under UV light. The pieces display a variety of surface structures – from compact crystal aggregates to open vugs with sparkling crystals – making this an attractive selection for collectors and display purposes.
The Mapimi district is among the most renowned localities for fluorescent adamite specimens. This offering comes from an older collection and showcases a representative variety of forms, ideal for UV collectors, fluorescence demonstrations, or as an addition to themed mineral collections.
The flat and the folding boxes are not included but can be purchased separately.
