This flat features Brucite crystals from Pakistan in a diverse assortment of shapes, colors and textures. The individual specimens range from soft lemon-yellow to pale cream tones, some with subtle greenish or grey inclusions. Many crystal groups display the typical lamellar structures of Brucite, producing a silky to waxy sheen in the light. The natural variation – from compact, slightly curled plates to loose, fluffy aggregates – creates a harmonious and visually engaging selection of this sought-after mineral species.
Geology & Origin
Brucite in Pakistan forms mainly within serpentinized and metamorphically altered magnesium-rich rocks. It develops through reactions between water-bearing fluids and peridotites or dolomites, often producing sheet-like crystal aggregates. The Pakistani deposits rank among the world’s most important sources of vividly colored, well-formed Brucite. This flat presents the characteristic diversity of these assemblages in a balanced and collectible selection.
The flat shown in the pictures will be shipped with the corresponding box and, if applicable, folding boxes. These may be partially used, show signs of wear, and have multiple labels or markings.
