Kinoite crystals and associated minerals from the Christmas Mine, Gila County, Arizona, USA – 1 unique flat.

This collection features pale matrix pieces containing delicate, often microscopic crystals of the rare copper silicate kinoite. The bluish-violet hues of kinoite occur in fine veins and scattered aggregates, contrasting against the white to greenish-gray host rock. Associated copper minerals such as chrysocolla, plancheite, or calcite are frequently present.

The Christmas Mine in Gila County is a classic locality in the American Southwest, well known for its diversity of rare copper minerals. These specimens offer a representative view of this mineral assemblage and are a valuable addition to systematic collections.

The flat shown in the pictures will be shipped with the corresponding box and, if applicable, folding boxes. These may be partially used, show signs of wear, and have multiple labels or markings.
