This miniature specimen from the Lengenbach Quarry features Incomsartorite with its characteristic dark metallic appearance set within the light dolomitic matrix of the locality. The strong contrast between ore areas and host rock gives the piece a distinct and collectible aesthetic. Incomsartorite is one of Lengenbach’s rare sulfosalts and is highly valued for its complex composition.

Geology & Origin
The Lengenbach Quarry in the Binn Valley is renowned worldwide for its exceptional variety of rare sulfosalts formed under low-temperature hydrothermal conditions within dolomitic host rock. The locality is characterized by complex arsenic–sulfur mineral phases that accumulate in well-defined zones. Incomsartorite is among the less common representatives of this assemblage and illustrates the unique geochemical signature of this famous deposit.
