Geology & Origin
Gaidonnayite is a rare sodium zirconium silicate found primarily in alkaline rock complexes. Mt. St. Hilaire in Quebec is one of the world's most important localities for rare and unusual mineral species and is particularly renowned for its exceptionally diverse alkaline mineralization.
