This micromount features numerous delicate Fluorite crystals in pale cream to light honey-yellow shades. The densely covered crystal surface creates an attractive sparkle and a finely textured appearance. The uniform crystal development and harmonious colouring make this an appealing collector's specimen from a well-known Chinese mineral locality.
Geology & Origin
The Qinlong Mine in the Dachang Antimony Ore Field of Guizhou Province is one of China's notable mineral localities. Fluorite crystals formed within hydrothermal ore veins together with a variety of sulfide and associated minerals. The locality is internationally recognised for its diverse mineral assemblages and its aesthetically pleasing Fluorite specimens.
