Feldspar xls; Mt. Malosa, Zomba, Malawi; 1 unique flat (41)
Feldspar crystals from Mt. Malosa, Zomba, Malawi. 1 unique flat for mineral collectors.
Feldspar crystals on matrix from Mt. Malosa near Zomba, Malawi. Some specimens feature very large and well-formed crystals with characteristic whitish to pinkish coloration and prominent cleavage. The crystals appear either as isolated individuals or in clustered formations on contrasting matrix rock.
Mt. Malosa is internationally recognized for its impressive pegmatite structures and wide variety of rare minerals. This flat was hand-collected during our 2022 mineral expedition to Malawi and consists entirely of original field specimens.
A great choice for collectors seeking large-crystal pegmatite minerals from Africa – especially from Malawi, a classic location for both systematic and display collections.
The pictured flat shows exactly the collection offered.
