Crandallite Crystals from Blaton, Belgium – 1 unique flat.

This flat contains multiple specimens of yellowish to beige Crandallite on matrix, showing dull to slightly lustrous crusts and fine granular to botryoidal textures. Several pieces display color zoning and well-contrasted associations with dark host rock. The uniform appearance of the material makes it a representative example of the Crandallite occurrences in Belgium.

The phosphate-rich environment of Blaton in the Hainaut province of Belgium is known for producing rare secondary phosphate minerals like Crandallite. Formed through alteration processes in sedimentary rocks, this locality provides specimens with typical coloration and crystal habits that are valued among European systematics collectors.

The flat shown in the pictures will be shipped with the corresponding box and, if applicable, folding boxes. These may be partially used, show signs of wear, and have multiple labels or markings.
