This attractive miniature specimen from Mibladen features a harmonious association of Cerussite, pink Barite and metallic Galena. The well-defined Cerussite forms rest on a dark matrix, framed by fan-shaped Barite structures whose warm hues create a vibrant visual contrast. Subtle metallic reflections from Galena add further depth and texture to the piece.
Geology & Origin
The association of Cerussite, Barite and Galena is characteristic of the hydrothermal lead-zinc deposits in the Mibladen area. Here, metal-rich fluids circulate through carbonate host rocks, forming a wide range of aesthetically remarkable mineral assemblages admired worldwide. The clear forms, vivid colours and contrasting textures reflect the geological richness and dynamic formation processes of this notable Moroccan locality.
