Amethyst crystals from Brandberg, Namibia. 1 unique flat for mineral collectors.
The Amethyst crystals originate from the world-famous Brandberg Massif in Namibia, one of Africa’s most prolific amethyst-quartz localities, where hydrothermal fluids in granitic veins yield high-quality crystal formations. Crystallizing in open cavities under stable geological conditions, they developed outstanding transparency and well-formed crystal faces.
Amethyst, the violet variety of quartz, is distinguished by its rich purple coloration and characteristic play of color. Collectors prize these specimens for their intense hue and the blend of aesthetic appeal with mineralogical purity. The sharp terminations and occasional color zoning make each flat a remarkable showcase piece.
This unique flat is perfect for systematic collections, Africa-focused cabinets, and premium display cases, offering both visual impact and a comprehensive representation of amethyst diversity.
The flat shown in the pictures will be shipped with the corresponding box and, if applicable, folding boxes. These may be partially used, show signs of wear, and have multiple labels or markings.
