Aksaite; Aksay, Chelkar, Kazakhstan; Capsule; unique piece
Aksaite from Aksay, Chelkar, Kazakhstan. Capsule as unique piece for mineral collectors.
Aksait is an extremely rare borate mineral, known from only a few localities worldwide. This specimen originates from the type locality in Aksay, Chelkov District, Kazakhstan, and is offered as a single collector’s piece in a protective capsule with confirmed provenance.
The clear plastic capsule holds a small rock fragment with Aksait mineralization, recognizable by its light-colored, partly vitreous to granular appearance. Aksait typically forms in crystalline aggregates or massive inclusions, often associated with other borate minerals. Due to the mineral’s delicate nature and small size, this piece is ideal for systematic collections, academic reference, or educational use.
Kazakhstan is renowned for its borate-rich deposits, and the Aksay locality remains one of the few confirmed sources of authentic Aksait. Specimens from this site are rarely available on the market, making this item a valuable addition to any scientifically oriented mineral collection.
An excellent choice for collectors focused on rare borate minerals or minerals from Central Asia, this piece offers both geological significance and academic value. It is a rare opportunity to acquire a type locality sample of one of the world’s scarcest borate species.
This table is for general information and orientation, although the sizes of the stones may vary. In addition, this specification is handled differently from region to region.
