Aegirine xx; on matrix; Mt. Malosa, Zomba, Malawi; 1 unique flat (38)
Aegirine crystals on matrix, Mt. Malosa, Zomba, Malawi. 1 unique flat for mineral collectors.
Striking aegirine crystals on matrix from Mt. Malosa, Zomba, Malawi. The dark green to black needles appear in attractive alignment, often associated with pale feldspar, creating a strong visual contrast. The crystals are well-developed and stable, offering a distinct and aesthetic appearance.
Mt. Malosa is one of Africa’s most significant pegmatite localities, renowned for its exceptional variety of well-formed minerals. This piece was personally collected during our 2022 mineral expedition to Malawi and carefully selected on site.
A valuable addition for collectors of African pegmatite minerals or systematic mineral collections.
The pictured flat shows exactly the collection offered.
