Aegirine and Feldspar crystals on matrix from Mt. Malosa, Zomba, Malawi. 1 unique flat for mineral collectors.
Attractive aegirine and feldspar crystals on matrix from Mt. Malosa, Zomba, Malawi. The aegirine crystals are well-formed, typically dark green to black with distinctive prismatic or needle-like structures. The light feldspar provides a striking contrast and contributes to the overall aesthetic. Some specimens also feature small zircon crystals, highlighting the mineralogical richness of this locality.
Mt. Malosa is known worldwide as one of Africa’s most famous pegmatite sources, offering a wide range of rare mineral species. This flat was selected during our 2022 mineral expedition to Malawi and was handpicked directly on site.
Perfect for collectors of aesthetic crystal groups, African localities or rare mineral combinations such as aegirine and zircon.
