Rosasite xls; Mapimi, Mexico; 1 lot with 8 pieces, unique
Rosasite crystals from Mapimí, Mexico – 1 lot with 8 pieces as unique
This lot features intensely turquoise to blue-green Rosasite crystals on light-colored matrix. The acicular to velvety aggregates display a silky luster and coat the surfaces in typical formation. Some pieces include associated minerals such as goethite or calcite, enhancing the overall diversity. The striking contrast between the vibrant Rosasite color and the matrix makes these specimens especially attractive.
Mapimí, located in the state of Durango, Mexico, is one of the classic localities for Rosasite. In the oxidized zones of this historic mining district, vividly colored and highly aesthetic Rosasite crystals form under supergene conditions. This lot is ideal for systematic collections or as an eye-catching display group.
The flat and the folding boxes are not included but can be purchased separately.
