This diverse flat contains a representative selection of matrix specimens with crystallized zones of dark green libethenite – a rare copper phosphate mineral valued for its intense color and vitreous luster. Several pieces show finely crystalline to well-formed aggregates embedded in iron-rich matrix. The contrast between the dark green libethenite and the reddish to grey matrix lends the specimens a strong aesthetic appeal.
