Linarite, Caledonite xls (UV-active!); Kirki, Greece; 1 unique lot with 19 pieces
Linarite and Caledonite crystals from Kirki, Greece. 1 unique lot with 19 pieces for mineral collectors.
This selection contains numerous specimens featuring intensely blue linarite crystals and greenish-blue caledonite on light, iron-rich matrix. The crystals appear as thin crusts, granular aggregates or loose associations with other oxidation zone minerals. Many of the caledonite-rich pieces show distinct UV fluorescence, adding visual interest under ultraviolet light.
Kirki in Thrace, northern Greece, is one of the classic European localities for secondary lead minerals. The specimens reflect the typical geochemical conditions of the oxidation zone and are appreciated for their vibrant colours and rarity.
This product is ideal as a collector's item, decorative element, teaching material, or for scientific and exhibition purposes.
