This half size flat comprises seven distinctive specimens plus one dark contrasting piece from the world-renowned Tsumeb locality in Namibia. It features vibrant green malachite coatings, locally crystallized duftite, and light matrix contrasts with dolomite and possible cerussite inclusions. The diversity of minerals and textures reflects the complex paragenesis of one of the most important mineral localities globally.
All pieces come from the former Ilse Baer collection and document different zones of the ore body. Notable are the rich color variations, the varied formation of secondary minerals, and the often well-preserved crystal structures.
