Sodium Hydroxide (Caustic Soda) 1 kg

Sodium hydroxide, also known as caustic soda, is a strong alkali with various applications:

  • Chemical Synthesis: Used in the production of various chemicals such as formic acid, sodium hypochlorite, sodium phosphate, and sodium sulfide.
  • Soap Making: Essential component in the manufacture of sodium-based soaps.
  • Metal Industry: Utilized in the Bayer process for extracting aluminum from bauxite.
  • Textile Industry: Employed in the mercerization of cotton to enhance luster and strength.
  • Paper Industry: Applied in pulp production for cellulose manufacturing.
  • Cleaning Agents: Effective in removing old paint layers (as a paint stripper) and eliminating greasy and oily contaminants.

The product is repackaged from a larger original container into a 1 kg package. Therefore, sterile packaging cannot be guaranteed.
