Geology & Origin

Native Antimony is a rare mineral that forms in hydrothermal veins when antimony-rich solutions crystallize under favorable conditions. The Finnish occurrences are among the few classic localities of this mineral worldwide. Kalliosalo near Nurmo is known for its geologically interesting parageneses and continues to provide desirable reference material.

A fine opportunity to add a rare element mineral from a classic European locality to any collection.
