    • Analysis of optical and physical characteristics without causing damage
  3. Working with the Refractometer:

    • Function and use of the refractometer in gemmology
    • Determining refractive indices for gemstone identification
    • Hands-on practice with the refractometer
  4. Other Gemmological Instruments:

    • Introduction to tools like dichroscope, polarizing filter, and loupe
    • Learning how to use these instruments for differentiation and identification of gemstones
