Advanced semi-automatic Cerchar testing machine for determining the relative abrasiveness of solid rock, with binocular microscope.


The Cerchar-Test (Cerchar, 1986) is designed to evaluate the abrasiveness of rocks. This testing device enables the determination of the Cerchar-Abrasiveness-Index (CAI) to distinguish the abrasiveness of solid rock.


Stiff test frame with two column construction with crosshead and base plate made of solid aluminum
Crosshead mass with ball bearings for axial test load of 70 N with quick clamping
The special cross table allows high resolution movement of the specimen clamping device in two directions(x, y) to achieve tool wear and repeat traverse action
